The Victorian skilled visa nomination program is updating for 2020-21 in response to challenges posed by the covid-19 pandemic, with a focal point on Victoria’s economic improvement. The Department of Home Affairs has offered Victoria with a limited number of state nomination visa places until the Federal Budget on 6th October 2020.

The skilled visa nominated program will end up on 5 October 2020
Victoria will initially run a shorter and more targeted provisional skilled nomination visa (subclass 190 and 491) program until 5th Oct 2020.
Selection to apply for Victorian visa nomination
The skilled migration program has been intended to respond to the challenges caused by the Covid pandemic. To be qualified to be considered for selection to apply for Victorian visa nomination, you should:
- already be living in Victoria State
- already be working in Victoria (minimum six months of employment required)
- You must be working in a highly skilled occupation in health or medical research, which supports Victoria’s economic recovery and/or health response
You must submit your Registration of Interest by 5pm AEST, 21 September.
